Before you order

All you need is a soft tape measure and 30 seconds.

Wrap the tape around your head, approximately one finger above your eyebrows and one finger above your ears. Keep it level and firm — not tight. That number is your head circumference.

Add 1 cm to get your hat size. For example: a 57 cm head wears a size 58 hat.

The internal leather sweatband will gently mould to your head over time. Hats do not stretch.

If your hat doesn't fit

Because our hats are handcrafted by artisans in Sandoná, Nariño, Colombia, we are not able to offer in-house resizing or reshaping services. The distance between our atelier and Australia makes that turnaround time unreasonable for you.

Instead, we keep it simple — and we put the decision entirely in your hands.

If your hat arrives and the size isn't right, contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@inevitavel.com and choose what works best for you:

Option 1 — Exchange for a different size If the same model is available in your correct size, we'll send it out immediately. If your model is no longer available in the size you need, we'll exchange it for any other model in stock in your size — your choice.

Option 2 — Full refund If you'd prefer your money back, we'll process an immediate refund in full. No store credit. No vouchers. The full amount, back to your original payment method.

The choice is always yours. We will never push you toward one option or the other.

Return shipping to us is at the customer's expense. We recommend sending via tracked post.


Frequently asked questions

Can I exchange for a different model, not just the same one in a different size? Yes. If your size isn't available in the original model, you can choose any model currently in stock in the correct size — or request a full refund instead.

What if I ordered the wrong size by mistake? The same policy applies. Contact us within 14 days of delivery and we'll sort it out — exchange or full refund, your call.

What if my hat arrives damaged or with a defect? Contact us immediately with a photo at hello@inevitavel.com. We'll resolve it at no cost to you.

How long does a refund take to process? Refunds are processed immediately on our end once we receive your return. Your bank or payment provider typically takes 3–5 business days to reflect the amount.

Does the 30-day guarantee cover sizing issues? Yes. Our 30-day guarantee covers fit, feel, and quality. If anything isn't right within 30 days of delivery, we make it right — no complicated process, no questions designed to discourage you.

What if I completed a fit session with Angie and it still didn't fit? If you completed a virtual fit session before ordering and the hat still arrived in the wrong size, return shipping is covered by Inevitável. This is the only exception to the standard return shipping policy.
